DOWNHILL NEWS
For all the Downhillers and 4x riders. We are planning a trip to Hamsterley on
Saturday the 28th October. It is a great place with good tracks well worth a
trip. We will be leaving early on the Saturday morning so as to make the most
of the day. We have to pay to use the track but this shouldnât be more that £10
each for the day. Once I know numbers of people going I can then start to work
out cost of transport.
Please email me or post on the forum if you are interested.
My email is mackally@hotmail.com and feel free to call or text on 07871053188 if
you have any queries.
Cheers
Alistair

Right as usual, any questions you should know how to get hold of us now, get using the forum to check out rides etc, we have a few MTB'ers who turn up on their own on wednesday, this isn't great so if you could get something organised on the forum first its stops billy no mates rides. Problem being most people will tend to go out on the road on a wed afternoon if they can, don't know why. Anyway, get on the forum www.leeds-uni-cycling.org.uk/forum dont worry we dont start taking the p*ss until you've been on there for a couple of months, promise.
I wont be out this weekend, but you will be able to have a mider to John R who will be out on both rides or any of the other committee members.
Dont forget torq, contact Leon for any queries.
Good Luck to Anthony Salmon who's taking a trip to Norfolk this weekend to do the 12 hour dusk till dawn race. We'll let you know how he gets on.
Watch this space for Chunder-Cross, its gonna be awsome, more detail later.
There is talk of a trip over to the Manchester Velodrome late November, if anybody has any contacts let us know.
