Do I have to pay to ride?
No, normal club rides are completely free, if you want to race the club will often subsidise this.
Just a few guidelines for when you come riding with the club...
You must wear a helmet. Uni Rules: No Helmet- No Ride
- Sufficient food and water are generally a good idea! Also bring some cash just in case.
- Be prepared...look at the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Especially coming into the winter, a waterproof is essential.
- Make sure your bike is in GOOD working condition - This is a point that I cannot stress enough, if anyone does not deem your bike to be road worthy we wont allow you out on rides.
- Don't rely on others to have tools/spares for when you breakdown, always carry at least one tube, a pump and an Allen-key set with you.
- Turn up on time! We will wait for a few minutes at the start of each ride, but we'd prefer to get out riding!
- Most importantly... Have fun!!
